These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Long Hair Dreams website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

2.Scope & Acceptance

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3.The Platform’s Role (Marketplace Disclaimer)

  1. Long Hair Dreams is a marketplace that enables users to list and purchase human hair and related services (e.g., donation listings or requests, if enabled).
  2. We are not automatically a party to any contract concluded between buyers and sellers. Contracts are formed directly between users unless a listing explicitly states it is sold by Long Hair Dreams.
  3. Users are solely responsible for negotiating, concluding, and performing their transactions.

4.Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to use the Platform.
  2. You must provide accurate and complete account information and keep it up to date.

5.Accounts, Security & Communications

  1. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
  2. You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
  3. Platform messages and email notifications may be used for transactional communication and safety-related notices.

6.Listings & User Content

  1. Sellers must describe hair and listing details truthfully and accurately, including (where applicable): length, thickness/weight, color, virgin/treated status, split ends, and any processing/treatments.
  2. Photos and videos must be authentic and represent the actual item offered.
  3. You must have all necessary rights to upload content (photos/text) and you must not infringe third-party rights.
  4. By posting content, you grant Long Hair Dreams a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating and marketing the Platform (e.g., showing your listing).

7.Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
  • Attempt to move payments off-platform in a way that bypasses safety rules
  • Use harassment, hate speech, or illegal content
  • Upload malware or attempt to exploit the Platform
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws

We may remove content and/or suspend accounts for violations.

8.Payments — PayPal Only

  1. All payments must be made via PayPal (the “Payment Method”).
  2. For safety, buyers and sellers should use PayPal Invoice / Goods & Services and should not use “Friends & Family.”
  3. The Platform may require proof of payment clearance before certain actions are allowed.

9.Seller Shipping & “Payment Clearance” Rule

  1. Sellers must not cut, ship, or hand over hair before payment is received and cleared.
  2. Sellers should use tracked shipping and keep proof of shipment/delivery.
  3. Buyers are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and for any import duties/taxes (if cross-border).

10.Fees, Paid Listings & Upgrades

  1. Long Hair Dreams may charge fees for certain listing types or promotional upgrades (e.g., Featured Listing, SuperBooster).
  2. Example fee concepts discussed: Lifetime Listing ($20), 60-day Listing ($17.50), 120-day Extensions/Processed Hair ($50), Featured (+$10), SuperBooster (+$8).
  3. Fees are displayed before purchase and may be updated from time to time. Updated fees apply prospectively (not retroactively) unless stated otherwise.
  4. Unless otherwise required by law, paid listing fees are generally non-refundable once the service (publication/promotion) has been delivered.

11.Hair Price Calculator (Estimates Only)

  1. The Platform may provide a hair price calculator for informational purposes.
  2. Calculator results are estimates only and do not guarantee sale price or demand.
  3. The calculator concept may require a minimum hair length of 6 inches to generate an estimate.

12.Disputes Between Users

  1. Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disputes directly via Platform messaging.
  2. If unresolved, users may use PayPal’s dispute resolution process according to PayPal’s terms.
  3. Long Hair Dreams may (but is not obligated to) provide limited support such as reviewing messages or assisting with account-level enforcement (e.g., removing a fraudulent listing).

13.Reviews & Ratings (If Enabled)

  1. Reviews and ratings are intended to improve trust.
  2. You may not manipulate reviews (e.g., fake reviews, coercion, incentives not disclosed).
  3. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.

14.Hygiene & Product Disclaimer

Human hair is a hygiene-sensitive product. Users are responsible for asking relevant questions, reviewing photos, and agreeing on terms before purchase. Where allowed by law, sellers may exclude returns for opened/used items.

15.Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or engaged in fraudulent/illegal activity. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

16.Intellectual Property

The Platform, including branding, design, and software, is owned by Long Hair Dreams or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

17.Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that listings will lead to successful transactions.

18.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. Long Hair Dreams is not liable for user-to-user transactions, listing accuracy, shipment issues, or PayPal outcomes.
  2. Long Hair Dreams will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages (loss of profit, reputation, etc.).
  3. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to Long Hair Dreams for paid services in the last 12 months, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

19.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Long Hair Dreams harmless from claims arising out of your content, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

20.Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

21.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany/Hessen, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive jurisdiction is Hanau, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

22.Severability

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
